INTRODUCTION:
True to its pioneering history, Le Cours du Rocher is the first primary school to install a FabLab on its premises in order to offer an innovative activity to children.
The FabLab du Rocher is a digital design and manufacturing workshop for children aged 5/7 and 8/10 years old.
It is equipped with 3D printers, a laser cutter, a digital embroiderer, and an electronic workshop.
Due to the positive impact of these activities on children, we believe that these FabLabs will become standard in primary school in the years to come.

Why this activity? Scientific studies have demonstrated the impact of the Makers projects, from elementary school, on the development of key cognitive skills for 21st century children:
Creativity - Attitude for problem solving - Critical Mind - Conceptual Thinking - Scientific Mind As well as behaviors: Collaboration - Autonomy - Resilience
